Ladies,
I realize I've been posting for awhile now, but I also know I am SO basic when it comes to all this computer stuff. I have a few questions for you out there who are so much better than me at all of this!
1. Google Analytics- I can find it but I have no idea how to add my blog to it and get the information. I'd love to know how people find my blog and who is reading out there but, for the life of me, can't figure this out. Yes, I know that admitting this makes me seem incredibly stupid, so can you please help a lady out?
2. I adore responding to my commenters but many people come up with the dreaded "noreply@blogger.com". How do I know if my profile does this? I hope that it comes up with my email address so anyone who needs to can respond back, but I don't know how to check this out. Also, how stupid do I feel knowing that I have responded to people in the past before I realized that everyone wasn't getting these messages? If you comment regularly on blogs, make sure your email is hooked up to your profile so that other's can get back to you!
3. A lot of my pictures show up with white boxes around them. Does anyone know why this occurs and how I can prevent this from happening?
Hopefully someone (or many someones) can help me out with a few of these issues so that I can fix some of this stuff over the weekend! Thanks!

I believe that if you have your email address on your profile, it will automatically show when you leave a comment for someone else. I think.... :)
ReplyDeleteFor Google Analytics, you will need to go to the Analytics site, find the snippet of code that does this, and put it into the HTML of blog. It sounds worse than it is. Plus, there are forums where you can ask them to look at your blog and help you if it doesn't work.

To change this, go to your Blogger dashboard.
Next, click on the button that reads "Edit Profile." It's on the left side of the page, right next to your photo.
This will take you to the Edit User Profile Page. Under the first heading, Privacy, scroll down and check the box next to "Show my email address." And - voila! This will make it so that people can respond to your comments via email.
