So sorry!

Ladies,

I have drawn the winner for the necklace and taken pics of the drawing, the whole nine yards. However, the swine flu has wreaked havoc on my life in that the hospital was incredibly insane today and I had to work in the ED which I NEVER have to do. I didn't sit down all day and I got a five minute lunch break (for a 12.5 hr shift). I'm not kidding when I say that it was so busy and parents (and locals schools) are slightly (okay, really) crazy about this stuff. Our emergency department had 394 people come through yesterday (only 12 of which were actually sick and needed to be admitted to the hospital). The previous number for the busiest day was 280. INSANE!!!!

So, tonight, I just ate dinner (I thank God for my wonderful husband who made a great meal) and now I'm off to bed. I can't even fathom anything else. I promise that one of you will be surprised this weekend. I have to go in for another 12 hr shift tomorrow, so I will try to post tomorrow night, but it could be Saturday morning. Please don't be mad!! My brain cells just can't function enough to do anything anymore!

Have a great Friday and, if you are going to the Derby, have a great weekend there! I'll be catching up on all your blogs on Saturday, and I hope you all are posting super fun things for me to read about. I can't wait to veg on the couch and read Sat morning after my run!!

Need help please!

For my birthday last fall, my mother in law got me the VV polo shirt dress in light pink. It's absolutely adorable, but this style of dress looks AWFUL on me. Every year I try on one or two in this style and every year I walk away thinking "so that's why I don't have any in my closet!" I've talked to B's mom about it, and since she got it last summer out east at a store that is only open in the summer, it can't be returned or exchanged. Bummer!! So, what I need your help with is would it be worth it to list it on ebay? I've never sold anything there before (though I buy occasionally). I'd like to get at least $50 for it as it's a $125 dress, still with the tags on it. At our local consignment stores in the city I'd get 50% of what they sell it for, and I bet they'd only put a $40 or $50 price on it. I really would like to see more than $20 for it. Does it cost a lot of money to list on ebay? It's a size medium, and I've never seen this dress listed on ebay, so that ups the "exclusivity" factor, but I don't know how many people (outside of preppy bloggers) that search for VV stuff on ebay in general.

Here are some pics to show you what I am talking about:

Anyone have any other ideas? Anyone out there in blogger world interested in an adorable summer dress? Trust me, it's perfect and would be great for running around all summer long!

Don't forget!

My giveaway ends tonight at 5:00 p.m.! Don't forget to enter!!

Updates!

*We had a great time in FL last weekend. Friday, B's parents picked us up from the airport, we drove through old Jax, had lunch on the river, went to the pool, and had lunch with them and the 5 (bil, sil, 3 kids) at the beach club. We ate out on the porch overlooking the ocean and after dinner went in to the club to dance to the live band. The three kids loved the band and we probably danced for at least 45 minutes!!
*Sat we got up slowly, had a great breakfast, and went to the beach for most of the day. It was glorious, and my body was completely shocked by the sunshine! We went home and got ready for dinner at A1 Ale House in downtown St. Augustine. The wait was horrendous (especially while trying to entertain a 6 year old and 4 1/2 year old twins!). Dinner was great though.
*Sunday we went to church with the 5 (B's parents go to a different church and since we were staying with the 5, it was easier to go to their church) and then met his parents at the TPC Club at Sawgrass.

The clubhouse is brand new and gorgeous!! We ate out on the covered part of the porch (my shoulders were glad for that) and walked around the course after lunch. They are getting ready for the players which is going on May 7th through 10th, so everything looks so lush and green. Everyone loved their lunch- very casual yet very good.
*Today I picked up my graduation gown and hood for the ceremony next Thursday!! I'm going to look like I just stepped out of Hogwarts with this get-up on. It's got weird sleeves and the hood is just too comical!! Oh well, I'll wear it with pride knowing that all I have to do now is pass boards in June!!
*I finished 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' on the plane. It was a fascinating read and very engrossing. I wasn't thrilled with the last three pages, but other than that, I would highly recommend.
*Pulled out my suitcase for Spain today!! Only 16 days left until we leave, and I want to start putting things in the suitcase to start getting organized. I like to pack early (obviously!!) and am a huge overpacker, so this way I can put in everything I think I'll need and then have B help me edit!! (ANY packing advice would be greatly appreciated!!)
*Ordered my review book for my boards. I refuse to take it to Spain, but I'd like it to arrive before we leave.

An adorable gift

My brother-in-law and sis-in-law (and the kids) got me a fantastic gift this weekend when we went to visit. L saw it in a store and picked it up right on the spot. Her reasoning? "It matched the wedding ties!" She's so right! The guys in our wedding wore the pink Vineyard Whale tie with the blue whales, and though the present is blue on blue, it is smashingly similar!!

It appears to be a tote bag, but actually it's a cooler! B and I love to go to Ravinia in the summer, and this will work perfectly with our picnic basket. It also will be great to take to the beach with sandwiches, Diet Coke, and snacks.

It was such a sweet gift and so useful as well. I can't wait to use it!!!

Cute finds at LL Bean

LL Bean just put out some adorable new summer outfits. In fact, one dress that was so cute and online this weekend is already gone! I'm hoping it will come back- it was navy with a white bamboo-ish print and a kelly green waistband. Look for it- it's a great option for summer!

Here are a few other things I found that I think are great summer staples!
Adorable flats

If those are too much for you, these below are just as cute but a little more conservative (and probably match many more outfits in a closet!)

Love this whole look!!

I love this shirt. It would pair perfectly with white pants for the office or white bermudas and a white tank on the weekend

Each color option has adorable cuffs on the sleeves (and I do love me a turned up cuff!!!)

Have you ordered anything fun lately that I need to know about? Did any of you happen to see the cute dress I was talking about up top?

My first award!

Be Write There was so kind and just gave me my 1st blogger award (Neno's award)! How fun!

The goals of this award are:
1)As a dedication for those who love blogging and love to encourage friendships through blogging.
2)To seek the reasons why we all love blogging.
3)Put the award in one post as soon as you receive it.
4)Don't forget to mention the person who gives you the award.
5)Answer the awards question by writing the reason why you love blogging.
6)Tag and distribute the award to as many people as you like.
7)Don't forget to notify the award receivers and put their links in your post.

I have come to love blogging because it allows all of my random thoughts to get out of my head and onto "paper". I became a wedding blog junky when planning my wedding day, stumbled onto A Preppy Wedding and from there a whole new world was opened to me. I am so glad that I have found cute outfits, new recipes, great interior design photos, travel itineraries, and amazing people while blogging, and I hope my blog brings some enjoyment to other's days as well. It's amazing how blogging has expanded my world and allowed me to examine my life more closely as well.

I would like to pass this on to
MMM
Queen Bee Swain
Hound, Horse, and Home
Le Petite Blog
and
Mom X 2 (almost three!)

Weekend was great, work was crazy today.......informative post tomorrow!

My First Giveaway!!

So, this is my 101st post!! Who knew that in January when I started blogging that I would like it this much and that I would find this much to write about. There are so many kind and generous bloggers out there who have hosted giveaways, I thought I'd host one as well for this milestone. I got an amazing email yesterday stating that one of my favorite etsy artists finally was able to start her own website for her jewelry. To celebrate her accomplishment and my 101st post, I am doing a giveaway in her honor.

Stella's jewelry is incredible! The pictures on her website are great, but even they don't do "real life" justice. I ordered my best friend and matron of honor the Catherine earrings as part of her bridesmaid gift, and she loves them. Stella's jewelry is delicate, pretty, and easily wearable for day-to-day wear as well as dressier occasions. Since summer is almost here, I've decided to give the Sea Breeze Necklace (pictured below) to one lucky reader. The color will be perfect for all the white tops and dresses that come out of hiding this time of year, and it will look great against tan skin as well! Plus, it's so delicate, it will still be wearable even on the warmest of days.

The giveaway will end next Wednesday, April 29th at 5 p.m. I'll pick the winner that night. Rules are as follows:
1. Leave a comment telling me your favorite item off Stella's site for your first entry.
2. Become a follower or let me know you are one, for two extra entrys.
3. Post about this on your blog or on your sidebar for 3 additional entrys.

This gives everyone a possible 6 entrys into the contest. Good Luck! It's definitely something I would want to win, and I hope you all feel the same way!

Also, Stella is offering 20% off all purchases on her website through May 31st with the code TWENTYOFF, and free shipping for orders over $100. If you know anyone getting married this year who is looking for something extra for her girls, or you yourself have fun gift giving opportunities coming up, this is a great opportunity!!

A few of my favorite items from her line include these below:

Gorgeous, huh?? Good luck to all and enjoy your weekends!!! I'll chat with you all again once I'm back from FL!

Giveaways!

Sweet Tea Diaries has been incredibly generous during this month of her birthday, and she's at it again. This time for a gift we all want, need, and use regularly- a boat and tote bag and flip-flops. Perfect for the weather that is soon upon us!! As you know, I love boat and totes and think they are completely necessary in day to day life. She's offering your choice of color and monogram in a size medium. I'm thinking foilage with a pink monogram or canyon gold with a navy monogram.

Be Write There, a relatively new Michigan blogger, is also hosting a giveaway- her first!! If you're not reading her blog already, hop on over, enter the giveaway, and add her to your google reader! She's joining in with Preppy Paper Girl to give a Scout Cooler (awesome for trips to the beach!!) and adorable ribbon tumblers.

Head on over, give these bloggers some love, and perhaps win a gift!!

PS- This is my 100th post!!!!!!! I can't even believe it. I suppose it's time for me to do a giveaway myself. Let's see what I can come up with!!!

Their truly is something for everyone over there! Head to www.stephenbonanno.com to check them out!!

PS- if you have tried on Jack's in the past and felt they were too narrow, I give you my word that SB's sandals fit much better!

Packing for Florida

B and I are leaving at 0600 on Friday morning for a quick weekend getaway to see his parents, brother, sister-in-law, two nieces, and nephew. We haven't seen them since our wedding in August!! It's going to be a great weekend with incredible weather. B's parents live in Ponte Vedra (near Jacksonville) and his brother's family lives in St. Augustine. The beach club his parents belong to is fantastic- the beach just stretches on for miles and miles. I haven't seen hide nor hare of a beach since the end of August, and this girl is itching to get her body some sun!! Plus the kids are at really fun ages, and they love to swim in the ocean and the pool. I'm not as bikini body ready as I'd like to be, but I'm not letting that stop me at all!!

Here's my packing list so far. I have to pack during the day on Wed since we have dinner plans Wed. night and Thursday is a long workday for me. We'll see how much things change between now and then! I always have to try on all my outfits during the packing process to make sure I love them enough to take them on the trip and make sure I'm not missing any accessories/appropriate undergarments/etc. Do any of you do this as well or am I just weird?

Friday- 81 Degrees (day), 68 degrees (night)
Day (Plane, lunch with parents, seeing museum where his mom is docent):Aqua dress, gold flip flops, gold sand dollar pendant, white cardigan
Night (Cocktails at club, dinner at beach club): White capris, Navy and white J Crew blazer, white tee, monogrammed Bonannos, pearl earrings, gold clutch

I'm trying to decide if I'll be too warm in the blazer while we're at dinner. Everything is air conditioned to the hilt, so I feel like I'll need it. What do you all think? I don't just want to wear white pants with a white tee if I get too warm, you know?

Sat- 81 degrees (day), 68 degrees (night)
Day (beach!): Bathing suit, gold flip flops, pink tunic (worn as dress) or white long cotton dress
Night (Dinner downtown St Augustine): Jeans, white and gold j crew tee, white BR short sleeved jacket, gold heels, gold bracelets, gold clutch

Sunday- 80 degrees
Day (church and lunch)- Lilly dress, gold heels
Travel home- Jeans, white tee, yellow ruffle cardigan, gold belt, gold heels, pearls

Great Success!!!

We just got back from the Wrigley Start Early 10K!!! B wanted to let everyone know that I ran 10,000,000 millimeters!! That doesn't sound very long- I think 6.2 miles sounds a lot longer! Anyway, I did it! I ran the whole thing without walking and without dying (a feat in and of itself). We completed the race in 1 hr 27 seconds. I'm kind of bummed that it wasn't under an hour, but it was still under 10 minute miles. Per B's Garmin, we tracked it at 6.3 actual miles which put us at 9 min 36 second miles. Not bad for my first race!

Toward the end of this race, the walkers met up with the runners, which was slightly annoying because we had to run around lots of strollers. I don't think it would have changed much, but it was frustrating. It was, however, really cool to see so many people up and at em on a gorgeous Saturday morning and fun to see the dogs that were running with their owners for the 5K. I have doggy fever so badly!!

We're just home and showered, so it's time to get ready for our lunch date!! We're going to sit outside somewhere- it's gorgeous here in Chi town!!

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend. We did take a few pics before and after the race, so if I have time tomorrow, I'll get them up here so you can see me in all my sweaty glory. I'm sure you're dying to see it :)

In Honor of Tonight

When B was at Miami University, he sang in their Men's Glee Club. I have come to adore the friends he made in Glee Club (many who live in Chicago) and love when we can get to Oxford for spring or fall concerts. Due to numerous reasons (one being the 10K), we can't get to Oxford tonight for the Spring Concert. We are bummed because the spring concert is always full of the "greatest hits", and quite a few of his friends will be there.

In honor of tonight's concert, I thought I would post a few of my absolute favorite glee club performances off of YouTube. The first is Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen (which you would know from the Shrek movie) and the Second is Beibl's Ave Maria. The Ave Maria was sung during communion at our wedding by five of our Glee Club friends- it was one of the most complemented moments of our wedding, and I will forever cherish that they did that for us.

Enjoy!!

My economic stimulus package!

A few new purchases............
A new Land's End Tote with our last name monogramed in script across the front. I got it in the large size to use as a beach bag.

A few outlet purchases today.... A new dress (aqua), pink button down, and sandollar necklace from JCrew, a striped sweater from the Gap ($13!), the pink and green headband from RL, and a gold belt from Banana. The dress is super duper comfy and will be great for casual summer weekends and to wear to and from the beach.

I picked up these Lilly bow ties the other day at TJ Maxx for $19.99!!! B is trying to decide which one (or two) he is going to keep. He looks great in a bow tie, and we have a few weddings he could wear them to this summer. All are pretty sedated for Lilly but also bright and fun! The one that is harder to see is pink with navy anchors. Anybody want to help us decide?? I'll be returning the ones we don't pick this weekend.

It was so nice to have the day off today and shop for awhile. I also got in my last run (3.5 miles) before the race this weekend!! Back to work for the rest of the week....... Are you guys getting this gorgeous weather where you live?? It could be as high as 70 here on Friday!! Wow!

Heirloom Clothes for Children

Yesterday while I was at the outlets, I walked past the Strasburg Children's store. They are having a going out of business sale, so I stopped in to check out the sales. I think it's so sad that they are going out of business because they have the most beautiful, heirloom quality clothes for kids. I wanted to let the moms out there know that the outlets that are going out of business are currently marking things from 30%-75% off. They had fall and Christmas merchandise that was orginally over $150 that was marked down to $20-$30. Gorgeous black velvet dresses and rompers, adorable plaid longalls with pumpkin embroidery for boys, school dresses for girls, etc. Most of their summer dresses were marked at 50% which made a lot of them $40-$70. If you have a few special events coming up or want to buy next year's Easter dress in advance, I would highly recommend visiting or calling one of the outlet locations to see what you can pick up. The smocking on the dresses is impeccable, as is the embroidery. I don't think you can beat the quality anywhere. Our flower girls wore a blue and white check dupioni silk dresses with a blue sash from Strasburg, and they looked so adorable!

If you can't get to an outlet, here are a few outfits from their website that I think are adorable and reasonably priced.

Plaid dress for $65.58

Yellow and white boy's outfit for $49.79 (would look so cute monogrammed)

Little boy's sailor suit for $35.99

Floral bishop dress for $57.78. I had a hard time walking out of the store without this (and I don't even have kids!). It's gorgeous in person!!

White two piece outfit for $34.16. Would look gorgeous for summer pictures on the beach.

Last week in pictures

Decorating Easter Eggs
I haven't done this since I was a little girl. It was SO much fun! Having the plastic tablecloth really helped me feel more confident about cleaning afterwards. Definitely something I'll have fun doing with my own kids someday!

Build-a-Bear and a trip to the Mall
Miss Cutiepie and I got to go to build-a-bear together (I have never done this), and it definitely was a cool experience if viewed through the eyes of a little one. We also shopped a little and found this fantastic hat for her. She looks SO cute in it!!

Springtime baking for Lemon Lovers

I am slightly obsessed with the King Arthur Flour cookbooks. I have made many things from the three I have, and I have yet to be disappointed. Last week Miss Cutiepie and I made two loaves of this bread for her parent's return. It was a great success!! She loved to stir the mixture, and the bread turned out great as it always does. It just tastes like springtime!! You can easily serve it as a dessert or for brunch as a part of a sweet bread basket. It's absolutely wonderful with strawberry or raspberry jam. Enjoy!

Bread
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup buttermilk or yogurt (I use buttermilk)
1/2 teaspoon lemon oil OR 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1 1/2 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Glaze
juice of 1 lemon (about 1/4 cup) - It usually takes me 1.5 or 2 lemons
1/3 cup sugar

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar till thoroughly combined. Beat in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix the buttermilk or yogurt and lemon zest, and set aside. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt, and set aside.

Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture alternately with the buttermilk mixture. Spoon the batter into a lightly greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pan. Bake the bread in a preheated 350°F oven for about 50 minutes, or until a cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove the bread from the oven, and poke it all over with a cake tester or long toothpick. Whisk together the glaze ingredients, stirring until the sugar is dissolved, and while the cake is hot drizzle it gradually with the glaze, stopping periodically to allow it to soak in. Set the bread aside, and let it cool in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove it from the pan, and allow it to cool completely before slicing. Yield: 1 loaf.

Quick beauty question

Have any of you ever used a wax at home hair remover kit? If you have, do they work? Which ones have you tried?

Thank you for your help!!!!

Grrrr....can't find a pic online!

But Meredith Viera is wearing my Lilly Pulitzer coat on the Today Show this a.m.!!! I don't have a pic of it either (it's hanging in my closet now, so maybe I'll snap a pic later). It's a bright kelly green knee length wool coat that is belted at the waist. It's adorable on, and it looks so cute on TV!! She's worn it today for all the outdoor snippets. How cool! If you're home, check it out!

Yea for Lilly making the Today Show this a.m.!!!

What a perfect ending

While I was in MI babysitting, I finished

I can honestly say that this was my favorite of the four. It was such a page turner, and I loved reading about Renesme. Such an interesting plot development. I was incredibly happy with the way she ended the series. It was absolutely perfect!!!! Endings of series are always hard, and I never know if I'm going to walk away still liking the books. Stephanie Meyer did a great job, and I will definitely be excited to re-read these at a later date!

Anyone out there disagree or did you like the ending just as much as I did?

Sunday night dinner

What B and I are having for dinner tonight- I'm so happy!!!

Dear Sweets and Desserts,

I am so glad you are my friend again!! And I'm so glad that God gave someone the most wonderful idea to take the delicious flavors of chocolate and peanut butter and meld them with the luscious texture of ice cream. There really isn't much that is better in the whole wide world!! I promise not to go crazy and I promise to stick with the running and working out, just as long as you never stray too far away again!!

Love, A

Dear God,

Thank you for the strength to make it through Lent. It was difficult, and I almost caved this week three times (there are sweets galore around the house I am staying at). I'm glad I was able to make it through, and I am also glad that the times I was really craving something, instead of complaining about it, I was able to focus on WHY I chose to give up my favorite thing. Really, it did help me to focus on you during this time of reflection and hopefully our relationship is strengthened because of it. Also, thank you for only making Lent 40 days long because I'm not sure I could have done much more!!!!

In Your Holy Name, A

The search for white pants

If you are a size 0, 2, or 4, I'm sure finding white pants isn't a problem (feel free to correct me if I am wrong!), but since I am not one of those sizes, finding white pants is my nemesis!!! Either they are too tight in the wrong places, the pockets show through, there aren't belt loops, they're too see through everywhere, etc. Plus, once I find a pair I like, by the end of the summer, I inevitably spill something on them that just wont come off. I am definitely the body shape that is much smaller in the waist than in the hips and thighs, so if you are built like me...........

I would like to present you with my new perfect fit white pant!!!! The Ann fit pant from Ann Taylor Loft. They are lined so you can't see the pockets, they're appropriate for work, they're just dressy enough but not over the top, and they are a perfect mix of ankle length/capri length. They also have a fantastic deep cuff at the bottom that is a great detail. I tried them on yesterday and bought them on the spot!!!

They're also on sale right now at a great price. I'm thinking about scooping up a black pair as well!!! If you haven't tried them on yet, you really should. I think you will be just as excited as I am!!!

Don't try this at home......

I knew I wouldn't get my full workouts in this week because you can't exactly hire a babysitter if you are the babysitter! She did have gymnastics two days this week, so I was able to work out during those times. Since preschool is on spring break, there was no other "break time" for me in this whole 8 days. And let me tell you, they are LONG days!!

So last Saturday I decided to put her in her umbrella stroller (all 45lbs of her) and run to see how far I got. It was about 3.9 miles though I definitely walked some of the uphills. I did it in 47 minutes. Today we went out again, and I did 4 miles in 46 minutes. My arms are more sore than my legs!! Umbrella strollers are NOT meant for running!! The steering is horrible, the don't do cracks well, and the handles aren't ergonomically correct. BUT both days were major workouts for me, and if I can do this, I can definitely run 6.2 on the 18th!! I'm almost at my last week of training, I've done three 5 milers, and I know that B will help to push me through at the end.

Also, I now give so much credit to stay at home moms. This is hard work people!! Especially when you don't know any other moms in the area to "play" with. And especially when she is a talker!! It's mostly been just the two of us at home for 8 days straight! We have gone to the park twice, gone to the mall, done Build-a-bear, WENT TO SONIC, gymnastics, etc. We also made flower bouquets out of felt to give to each member of her family when they walk through the door. I have to admit, they are pretty darn cute!!

I told her mom the other day that she said to me "I don't like you like I love my family. You just don't understand us kids like my mommy does." Her mom laughed and asked me if she had said "You are not in my heart like Jesus." Apparently that's her way to get back at her mom. I'm still laughing at that!! She's definitely verbal!!

Coverage for the Master's begins this afternoon on USA (just in case you were wondering!)

B's Master's shout out!

So, after reading my Master's post, my husband wanted to let you all know that he doesn't root only for Tiger. He also decided he needed to *edit* my post to include a little more information. Just in case you have a fellow golf lover in your life in your husband, boyfriend, father, or brother (and you could care less), you can share all this info with him and see if he agrees with B!!

Winner: Tiger Woods (Solo second last year while playing on a flat tire- referring to his knee)

Rounding out the Top 5:

2. Geoff Ogilvy (Interesting fact- an Aussie has never won the Masters)
3. Henrik Stenson (big hitting Swede who flies under the radar)
4. Rory McIlroy (English teenager, Cinderella Story, just turned pro last summer, played in the Masters last year as the then-reigning British Amateur champion)
5. Lefty (fan favorite, loves Augusta - fits his game well)

I can see where he's coming from with Geoff and Rory (and I obviously love Phil (aka Lefty)), but I do not think Henrik will win or even contend. Rory is super fun to watch, btw!!!!

Low Amateur (which is important at the Masters, even gets its own trophy during the ceremony at the end): Danny Lee, reigning US Amateur champion from New Zealand of Korean heritage
He is playing really well, so I completely agree with B on this pick.

Total Duds:

1. Trevor Immelman (he'll be too tired after playing host to everything throughout the week as the defending champion)
2. Brandt Snedeker (Tied for third last year at Augusta, playing horribly this year)
3. Greg Norman (just retire, already!)
4. Paul Casey (after winning last week, he'll be too tired to play well)

Feel-Good Story of the Week
: Fred Couples (1992 champion, playing well at 49.5 years old).
Freddy Couples is a really nice guy too (just like Kenny Perry)

Now, Ladies, make sure you impress someone with your new found knowledge this weekend. Or you can just watch The Master's in order to see who is sponsored by the preppiest clothing brand!! Brett Quigley is a Vineyard Vines guy, and I think that is awesome (unfortunately he wasn't invited to play in the tournament this year, so you will have to watch for him at other tournaments)! Also, if you are only watching for the cuteness factor, Brandt Snedeker is pretty darn good looking and a Southern Gentleman who went to Vandy!!

(This one is birdies and eagles- perfect for a golf lover!!)

What we'd wear at Augusta

This Lilly dress (so cute on!) and the gold wedges for the opening party on Wednesday night or for a cocktail party over the weekend. These gold earrings with the aquamarine drop stones would accent the dress perfectly!

Blair would wear these pants, this belt, a white monogrammed button down, and a navy blazer for the cocktail party (with topsiders of course). He won't wear a Lilly tie, but I bet he'd wear this belt!

This outfit is for Sunday. Bright, sunny, comfortable and preppy. Perfect for the golfing world!

For Sunday, this belt, the lightweight linen shirt, khacki shorts, and leather flip flops. Easy and comfy for a long day of walking. He'd want to wear red shorts, but, really, it wouldn't match my yellow dress, and we have to show support for all the players, not just Tiger!!!
